SOREN BRIER

Weekend festivities begin with an optional Kabbalat Shabbat service on Friday evening at 7:00 pm. Services typically last until 8:30pm, and will be followed by a casual Oneg reception (desserts and shmoozing) sponsored by the family of a religious school classmate of Soren's.    

The primary religious component of Soren's Bar Mitzvah will take place at Temple Habonim on Saturday morning at 10:00 am. Soren will join Rabbi Howard and David (our temple's education director and song leader) in leading the congregation and our guests through the Shabbat service. All guests are welcome and encouraged to attend this service! The Saturday morning service will be followed by a lite kiddush luncheon, sponsored by Soren's Saba & Safta, and Mimi (grandparents).

Friday service begins at 7:00 PM
Saturday service begins at 10:00 AM, followed by a lite luncheon

The PARTY begins at 5:00 pm, with cocktails, mocktails and soft drinks, assorted hors d'oeuvres and a sneak peak of the evening's entertainment, followed by dinner, games and trivia, dancing, and dessert! (Please note that the reception is limited to invited guests.)
